WE LOVE SUNDAYS

We are a family friendly church where everyone is welcome to come as they are, regardless of background, baggage, or beliefs. Whether you consider yourself a skeptic or a Christian, we would love to have you come with all your questions, no matter what they are.

We know visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating, so here are a few things that will prepare you for an enjoyable time:

LOCATION + TIME

Park & Tilford Cineplex
333 Brooksbank Ave
North Vancouver, BC
Sundays 10:00 AM

There is free parking in the Park & Tilford complex parking lot.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Once you head inside the theatre, you will see a welcome sign and a cafe serving JJ Bean coffee and baking. Grab a complimentary coffee, and if you have any questions about The Shore Church, the Welcome Centre team will be easy to find, and would love to talk to you.

Our service is in Theatre 6, and it starts at 10 am with singing, followed by brief announcements, and then a message from the Bible. We finish with a time where we remember Jesus by taking communion together, and more singing. Service typically runs for one hour.

You can listen to our worship songs here.

KIDS

Our kids classes and nursery are in Theatres 1-5. We also have a TV in the lobby with a video feed of the service for nursing mothers & parents.

While you’re in the service, your kids can enjoy a church experience designed just for them. Shore Kids is our amazing children’s ministry for newborns all the way through to kids in Grade 6. In their classrooms they’ll play games, hang out in small groups, and be taught the Bible from volunteers who are committed to serving children with excellence. You can check in your kids at the Shore Kids desk, and they can be picked up after the first song following the message. We love having our kids join us in song and communion as we close.

You can find out more information about Shore Kids here.

TEACHING

We believe that the teaching of God’s word is to play a central role in our worship gatherings through both the public reading of scripture and the teaching of the word.

To get a feel for the teaching style, you can listen to past sermons here.

We hope to see you Sunday! Our hope is that you not only feel welcome and connect with great people, but that you encounter Jesus. As the church we don’t celebrate that we have it all together. We celebrate that we’ve been loved and saved by the grace and work of Jesus, despite ourselves.
